“We Are Getting there” Sep 22 Written By Ryan Arnst The mural has begun and the Island City Stage trademarked logo is back on the building. Lighting is everything in theatre and it creates drama on any building. This was an effort to get done and took some handiwork from volunteer Roger Cruttendun and some installation work from Doug Candler. Thank you gentlemen. They look great! New address number, mail box and lighted poster boards repositioned and ready for posters. Livewire Electric has been working hard to get the electrical grid ready for shows and the new light plot. We now have light switches beside the doors so we don’t have to enter in the dark. It’s the simple things that make us happy. The new stage floor is installed and ready for it’s first coat of paint. Make it stand out Trey Opp continues working on the mural adding color with his favorite assistant, Mike Verdugo. They just so happen to run BodyTek next door.
